I think i told you that Bozkurt invited me to a big party at their home the other day. My friends at the office told me to take flowers, so i bought a big bouquet of roses. That was fine. The food was absololutely wonderful, especially the kibabs, and everyone was friendly to me. People asked me a lot of questions about my works and family. But then about half way through the evening i noticed something terrible. Everybody else in the room had socks or little slippers on, not shoes. Nobody had shoes on at all, except me! I just felt terrible about it .... i didn’t know what to say.
