Paris

Paris is the capital city of France. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It is also one of the world's most crowded cities. Lovely gardens and parks are found throughout Paris.

At night, many palaces and statues are lit up. For this reason, Paris is often called the City of Light. Every year, millions of people visit Paris. The most popular place to visit is the Eiffel Tower. This huge structure has become the symbol of Paris. The Louvre, one of the world's largest art museums, draws many visitors. The Cathedral of Notre Dame, a famous church, is another favourite place to visit.

Lawang Sewu

        Lawang Sewu is one of the famous historical buildings in Indonesia. It is named Lawang Sewu which means a thousand doors. Besides its thousand doors, it is also well known for the fascinating stained glass windows representing the Dutch Symbolism. The stained glass windows are similar with those of the places like The Hague and Rotterdam and also the Royal family. The building has numerous long winding corridors which open out to the offices on one side of the office and the other end of the building on the other hand. It is a famous landmark in the region of Semarang and a pride for Java.

Roman Bath

With its famous Roman bath, its eighteenth century archicture, and its many museums, Bath is one of the most beautiful cities in the country. It also has a large number of interesting shops and street markets, exellent hotels, cafes and many good restaurants.

In the summer there are lots of places to eat outside. You can enjoy walking around the small streets, or you can see the city from the water, with a boat  cruise on the river Avon. But don’t take your car into the city centre-parking, that is impossible in Summer.

Uncle Martin

        My uncle, Martin, is my mother’s elder brother. He is my favorite among my mother’s brother. He is a very interesting person. He lives quite near of our house with my aunt, Angela and my cousins, Anne and Bob.

Uncle Martin is about 45 years old with grey hair. He’s still quite good looking, tall and well built. He has blue eyes and a stronng face. He wears glasses and takes them off when he’s not working.

He is a textile enginer. He works for a big company in the city. He is an expert in solving problem with mechines. At present, he is in the United States to meet some company’s costumer.

Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono

      Well, I want to tell you about a man. He is a President of Indonesia. His name is Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Usually we call him “SBY”.

He is 62 years old. He looks strong with authority. SBY has round face and pointed nose. He also has brown skin, black hair and a pleasant skin.

Usually, he wears a rimless cup, blazer and tie. He is a good President.
